Silvio Testa and his team of People who are family, who are old High School Mates, who have been chosen along the way and who all get along and are the most decent Tradies I think we have ever had. No boom boxes going all day. Friendly and Good People all of them who have lots of laughs and conversations while they work. And...they tidy up each and every day.
Silvio also accompanied us to choose Tiles and Bathroom Fittings and Fixtures. Good advice was given. Our Bathroom is in a two-bedroom unit in a High Rise and so a relatively small space to work in which now seems much bigger and we have more cupboard space as well.
We had a plan. My Husband drew it up and Silvio morphed it into a more amazing and Beautiful Bathroom and separate Toilet Room I could ever have imagined. I had no idea how it would all happen and said to Silvio as such and just to do his magic. The attention to detail was so good that we could not put a finger on one thing that was an issue.
I believe his Kitchens are also amazingly beautiful. I guess that is why his Company is called Brilliant Bathrooms and Kitchens.

I have contracted Silvio for two renovations in the past, and he is presently working on a third job. My first contract was the gutting and rebuild of our ensuite in Newstead, and the second was a complete gutting and rebuild of a three-bedroom unit in Paddington. The present job is a new kitchen, bathroom, toilet, bedroom, and balcony tiling. Silvio is a true and rarely seen professional craftsman, who shows immense pride in his work which is reflected in the finished product, which is 5-star quality. Silvio's sub-contractors have been chosen with his own same qualities and professionalism, and all jobs are completed within the contracted time-line. Silvio has an up to date knowledge of appliances, tile quality, flooring, fittings etc, and he gives of himself to accompany the client to choose and make these purchases.

Some years ago Silvio upgraded our downstairs bathroom. I have to say I was, and still am, impressed. Renovating a bathroom can be a complex process; there are many decisions that have to be made. From the major items such as vanity, toilet shower etc down to accessories such as towel rails, mirror and tapware. Not only the colour or pattern but the right material, form and function. Silvio provided expert guidance in making these decisions. 
He also managed the project to ensure the arrival of materials and the timing of sub-contractors making the process as seamless as possible.
But the thing that impressed me the most was his exquisite attention to detail. From ensuring the alignment of components was geometrically accurate to the clean installation of the sealants.
Silvio is a “hands-on” project manager. He was on site every day there was something happening to ensure the quality and workmanship.
